The new 10 watt RI-91 offers THREE times the contact power ratings of current 3 watt 14mm Form C switches. The RI-91 Form C with 10 watt rating is ideal for applications requiring a more robust changeover SPDT reed switch. The RI-91 is UL recognized for switching 175VDC/125VAC maximum 10 watt loads and it [...]

New Prototyping Capability

2020-03-29T09:04:40-04:00January 21st, 2016|News|

Comus Europe recently acquired a Stratasys uPrint SE 3D printer providing the capability to produce prototype parts in natural ABS without costly tooling or machinery. With a maximum build size of 203 x 203 x 152 (8 x 8 x 6 in) and a minimum layer thickness 0.254mm (0.010in) the uPrint SE is capable of creating prototype parts from .stl files in a short time scale with limited finishing operations. These parts can be used for design development and customer approval greatly reducing development costs and time to market. There is also the possibility of using the machine to make [...]

GC Reed Switches

2020-03-29T09:14:00-04:00October 23rd, 2015|Applications|

Application: Tank Level Sensor Everybody notices petroleum and chemical tank farms in our landscapes, oil and chemical tankers traveling the globe and tanker trucks on the highway every day. STG reed switches are ideal for liquid level storage solutions using a reed switch ladder design. Reed switch ladder sensors offer accurate volume measurements of the fluids inside storage tanks. Reed switches offer stable contact resistance for critical signals in the level sensing system. STG reed switches are available in through-hole and SMD lead forms as well as overmolded in plastic for more rugged applications.
