The picture shows a truck’s tail lift with sensors. Tail lifts extend away from the truck and can easily be missed. This can be hazardous not only to vehicles and pedestrians, but also to the operator loading and unloading heavy equipment. This tail lift is using the RBF-40 smart sensor as a safety precaution. When the tail lift reaches a certain angle to the ground, it will trigger the RBF-40 to activate and the lights to pulse. When the tail lift folds back into place, the contact is broken and the device is turned off, conserving the battery.
